Model Assembly

Approximate Price: $20 for buggies and small trucks, large trucks $40

I offer Professional Assembly services on every model out there. If you want to send a model for me to build right, I can do it. I can also get most models for a good price and assemble and ship direct to you. You will get your model right from my personal workbench! I check and adjust each part for proper fit and function and can race prep any model for you based on your budget.

Cleaning and Basic Inspection

Approximate Cost: $20 for buggies and small trucks, large trucks $40

Every model should be cleaned occasionally, but what if you don’t wanna do it? Well, I will. I enjoy working on R/C models and will clean your model and look for damaged or broken parts. This is a good cleaning without tearing the model apart. In the event I do find something out of order, I will notify you with cost estimates for repair in case you want me to fix it for you.

Complete Overhaul

Approximate Cost: $60 for buggies and small trucks, large trucks $100

Got a little money to burn? I can rebuild your whole model piece by piece. I clean every part and apply a silicone coating to resist mud, dirt, and water. Cleaning is very time consuming and I use toothbrushes and special cleaners to remove nearly every spec of dirt (I say nearly, but will never leave a spec I see!). I then and reassemble it to factory specs. If I find damaged or questionable parts, I will notify you with the cost of the parts. My labor installing them is included free since it will be apart anyway. You will receive a very clean and mechanically sound model that meets my own personal demanding specs.

The cost includes all cleaners, silicone coating, detailed toothbrush cleaning, and all fluids for gears and shocks. Only top quality fluids will be installed and include full synthetic gear lubricants and advanced silicones. Shocks will be properly filled and checked for leaks. Fluid filled differentials will be filled to your specs which include percentage filled and silicone diff fluid weight. If you do not specify any of the fluid types, factory specs will be used.

Custom Wiring

Approximate Cost:
Electrics - $20 for 1/10 buggies and trucks, $40 for dual battery and larger scale models and trucks.
Nitro - $15 for 1/10 or smaller models, $25 for 1/8 scale models and large trucks.

Do you want a super clean and neat wiring job on your ride? I can make everything tidy and secure on your model. If you need the radio system installed and set-up, I cover that too. I consider myself a Master R/C Electrician and can wire your model right. From a basic functional installation, to a precision fit wiring set-up. No matter how tricky the install, I can make all the wires exactly the right length and have them mounted cleanly and efficiently.

All wire is included, but connectors may be billed separately. I include DEANS connectors for free on your model, and I can equip battery packs, chargers, and other equipment for a small fee.

Full Race Modification

This service is my personal expression of race car design. I will modify your current model or build one from a kit. Every part of the model is looked over with racing in mind. If a part can safely be modified to weigh less or move better, I modify it. Durability is strongly considered and certain types of racing require different strengths. This is all considered. The diffs, hinge points, hardware, and more is scrutinized as I look for every advantage available. I may require 2 or 3 weeks to complete the work, so plan ahead.

This service includes all of my other services rolled into one big super package plus some. So expect a very clean and mechanically sound model returned. Please know that some models are quite well engineered and there may be no real advantage to modifying them. In cases like this, I will refund some money after consulting with you.

Race builds/mods can include:

• Removing un-necessary bearing seals and bearing friction reduction with special lubricants
• Removing excess material low stress areas of the chassis and other parts
• Reducing the unsprung weight and rotational mass of your race model
• Removal of excess wire to reduce overall weight.
• Some neat mods I have gathered over the years.

What about Shipping?

If you are buying a new model, I can order it for a very fair price so you only pay shipping to you. If you are shipping your model to me, please make sure it is well packaged and can withstand a 4ft drop without damage. I recommend Insurance and Tracking/Delivery Confirmation on your package.

When I ship models, they are well packaged and meet USPS and UPS shipping regulations. Lots of padding, strong cardboard, and super strong tape are my standard materials. I will use the shipping service of your choice whenever possible and I try to keep packaging costs as low as I can. I ship primarily through the United States Postal Service, but heavier packages may ship using UPS.

You are responsible for all actual shipping and handling costs. I do not charge for packing time, but may charge a nominal fee if packing materials are needed. Your model's safe arrival is very important to me, and so I include Delivery Confirmation for free and require Insurance on your package when shipping to you.
