Cool R/C Extras
Here are some galleries that don’t fit into any other category. The RC10 galleries are from Team Associated’s website, but I really like looking through them alot so I’ve included them here with a few additional bits of info where available. If you would like to contribute some history on any of the models you see here, I would like to include it here, so please let me know.

Machined, Not Molded.
This is a gallery of photos of the first RC10 ever made. It is a really nice gallery and shows many details so you can see that was kept in the final model and what was unique to this first prototype.
Original RC10 photographed for the Box Art
If you want to recreate the Original paintjob, here it is!
On the first RC10 Box, there were photos of this very buggy. It looks like the wing is missing and the rims are much nicer in this gallery. The original box art showed the nylon rims and a wing.
Masami’s 1989 Australian Worlds Winning RC10
Very custom and unavailable to the general public!
With many custom parts and design ideas, this car was ahead of it’s time and secured many Worlds Campionships for Team Associated. Some parts ended up on all later versions of this buggy.
Masami’s 1991 Detroit Worlds Winning RC10
This isn’t the car they sold!
There are alot of cool custom parts on this buggy. Many of the features on this buggy were used on all later RC10 models.
“Dead Pool” Movie Radio Controlled Car
Custom RC10 for the Movie.
This RC10 later evolved into the DS (Dual Sport) model. With the full suspension, his Associated model was very capable on regular roads which made it awesome for the common buyer. Neighborhood streets have never been the same since.
Like the extinct “Real Racing” Chassis, only better.
This project is an attempt to build a really nice scale looking chassis for an RC10 buggy out of brake line. I can't just start bending though. I need a 3D model, and for this I used Solidworks to digitize many of the parts of the RC10 buggy.
Too technical for it's own success.
This was Tamiya's flagship model when it was released. With so many new and innovative features and design elements, it was so technical that it never quite made it to the big time.
